NASCAR IN VEGAS

Went to Vegasa few years ago when it was rained out. Traffic sucked.
It took longer to drive from the parking spot to Vegas, than it did to drive from Vegas to home. (Parker)
I had a driver friend get me into the pits at the testing last January ('02) I think it was more fun to walk around and hang with the crews and drivers than it is to go to the race.

We won't be getting into Vegas until Saturday night, we are going to be comming from a wedding in AZ. MissHBjet found that for $5 bucks a person each way, you can catch a shuttle bus from one of the strips main hotels to the race and back. Where do you guys plan on staying?

The bus ride takes for ever also. No priority traffic lanes or anything. Did the busride last year, this year we're just keeping a cooler in the truck and plan on hanging out in the lot for a couple hours.

were staying at mandalay bay! were going up friday morning and are going to hit the busch series race (come on scott wimmer #23) then of course the winston cup on sunday (#888888888)! just bring your lawn chairs and of course a barbacue and plenty a beer and have a great time!!! last year it wasn't very warm so remember to bundle up!!!!

I think Junior is the man to beat this year at Daytona. That worst to first finish in the Bud Shootout was damn impressive! His car Hauls Ass in traffic.
