I'll start.
I have a 24ft twin outboard with 450hp.
I will race any 23ft or longer inboard boat with double the horse power,0-100mph or if you like 15-100mph,or to your top speed if under 100mph.And the bet is $1.
OK outboard guys step up and lets here what challenges we have to offer.
This could get interesting

Would you race a 19' v bottom jet with 600hp from a dead stop to top speed in 10-11 seconds?

I will but 10 to 11 sec would be around the 1/4 mile for me and that would pushing close to the 100mph mark. I know that jet doesnt run 100mph.A jet with double the amount of horspower than an outboard should be a good race. :D

How about a 21' jet boat with less than twice your hp from any speed to any speed... I will let you have the move as well... maybe even spot ya 23' of space for comfort :D ... give you the shore side so you look better too!! :) I could maybe even pull hbjet on a tube while we race... :p

I cant defend the jetboats this month.I'm moving in two weeks.Maximus we'll give the egg beaters/blenders their day in the sun.Plus I went to RWYB and kicked ass and came out for some more the next weekend too!But somebody was a no show.

oooh revndave - did ya really kick ass! - I mean come on bro you raced me one time and that was it, it's hardly a day of kicking ass - but OK ya you beat me - and as far as the no show, If you are refering to me I was told the lake would be closed due to bacteria. That was the first and last time your jet boat will beat my hydro - The next time we run the ponies will be a little better matched up and I'm sure I'll be ginving your blown injected bad boy a run for it's money. :D :D :D
Stay Cool , looking forward to seeing ya soon.

This could get interesting I'm not sure if I'll be there Mike, but how about this, 0-60 (my top speed) and you spot me 2 boat lengths to make up for the 100hp I'm giving up. :D We can run for those 2 beers I told you about earlier.

You boys don't scare me none. I'll take anyone on, any distance, any time. My bad ass CVX is good to go. UT's nitrous ride has nothing on my XR-4. With a fresh set of NGKs, it'll not only do three digits on GPS; it'll insert a decimal place.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it this year to kick everyone's ass as I'll be attending a knitting tournament.

There's still time to hop up that big block. Spin in a set of Bosch platinums, a K&N filter, a Tornado, and come on out and kick some ass. http://forums.***boat.net/ubb/icons/icon14.gif

I'm ready to go...got my wacker running good. Check out the white knuckle speed! If she runs this good at 0 rpm, just think how it will go once the motor starts turning. Of course this wacker can only go up to 80rpm...lol
