Campground Near Laughlin

I recently saw a campground on the Bullhead side of the river just as you cross over the bridge from Laughlin on the left side.
Has anyone ever camped there or know the name of it ? It looks like a great place to camp.

I have not stayed there but some friemds have. They all said it was pretty cool but you get a lot of PWC's roaming around down there. Be careful to. Towards the casino's it has a few shallow spots early in the morning.

It's called Davis Camp. It is nice and has showers. They have a ramp to launch from also. It's kind of shallow so get ready to be nervous if you have an outdrive.

Yes it is Davis Camp. There are actually two sides to the campground. South and North. South is where the launch ramp is and has some grass and trees for shade. North has overhangs with tables. I would recommend the South because you are so close to the ramp. It is on a first come first serve basis. If you fish it is probably better at the North end.

The campground is OK...but WAY too many damn lake lice around there...and even worse,inexperienced idiots on rented ones at that !! I agree..stay at the AVI, nice beach, nice ramp, decent food, and your room is close..WITH A/C !

Thanks for the advice.
I was thinking about camping there next year early in the season like April. The river is so nice that time of year and there are not alot of idiots on the water yet. If I was doing it at any other time of year I would get a room.

They actually have little cabin type rooms that they rent there also.
They have a website you can get all of this information from.
Just be carefull when you type the website in. Look for Davis Camp, not Camp Davis! You'll see why if you make that mistake.
