I practically grew up there. Haven't launched there in 15 years, but go there by boat often. Great place to stay especially if you are family oriented.

Great place! Will be there staying at the pool side from July 14 thru the 21. Look for a 1988 21' Ultra open bow White,Blue with Gray fade stripes.

I have launched and stayed there a few times. Nice place, especially for the family atmosphere. It tends to be the quieter end of the lake. Nice place.

I am a part timer there - leave my fifth wheel in the 400's. 28' DCB - Blue Flames. I think I saw your boat and truck up in the s700's last weekend?
Maybe I'll see you out there.

We have a place there in the getto part of the park, right down the street from the apartments. I keep my lake toys out there. I really like it there, nice and quite most of the time. We go out about 2 times a month in the summer. Was there for the 4th and ran down to Nautical for the fireworks. Crazy coming back!
Later, Markos

We just returned from there. Don't think we'll go back. We always stay at the Marina Motel overlooking the marina, in M1. Maybe if we stayed at one of their motels with a pool we'd be happier, but M1 wasn't worth the $90. Also, the restaurant below the rooms doesn't offer breakfast, so we went down to Lois' Kitchen down the hill towards Parker (don't expect great A/C there).
On the positive side, it does have a quiet atmosphere and the launch ramp (2 boats max.) is OK. Heck of a lot better than the Nautical Inn's launch ramp which is a total laugh. Those bozos are building big time but we saw no work being done on their ramp.
We're going to the London Bridge Resorts next month, then maybe Black Meadow the following month. In the old days I went to BM a lot.

LAKESHOW, DO U DO GRAPHICS? HOWS THE EXTREME WORKING WITH THE TEAGUE ENGINE...

No, insurance. The engine is an HP500 with XZ outdrive. Performs nicely, however, I am getting cavitation and prop slip from the lab finished 26. Overall, however, It would be hard to be more satisfied with a boat.

konas down the street has the most kick ass breakfast burritos. its on the corner where the stop light is almost to parker. careful though, the owner lady is a beeaach, just ignore her and enjoy the food. kinda reminds me of the soup nazi; the place is always packed even with her attitude

You get the boat on the water early, nice ride to breakfast and enjoy the rest of the day. Could be the last meal of the day until dinner so make it a good one.

I just made a call to the springs and the pool, across the street, and over the outer harbor are booked untill after labor day. I love the springs I spent every summer there since I was fourteen and I'm almost thirty. I hope one day to own a place there, specailly on the island. Oh and about the hotel yes I agree it need a up grade like the rest of the park has been.
