Just wanted to say that meeting everyone this weekend was great. We all had a good time and everyone was good people.
CAS, you put on a great party. Sorry we stayed up too late last night. We were just getting warmed up. Probably a good thing we went to bed.
I hope to do it again soon.
Dirk, we gotta hook up again. e-mail me or witchcraft and we will get something together. If ya feel like Reno labor day we are going out to Pyramid Lake.

Tell Misty that she can dance all she wants at the Lost Isle again if she comes down again! I'll be posting pictures in this forum later on when I get out of these damn meetings today!
Cas, you and Eileen were da bomb! Thanks for putting everything together!
To the fella I almost ran over, (sorry I forget your name), my apologies. At least I have a broken rudder to explain! Sorry again!
To all the others, Great time! We have to do this more than once a year up here!

Great pictures. I like the one of Cas the best. :) What a great weekend. Cas, thanks for putting on such a fun filled event.
Byron, thanks again for towing me back to TP after I broke the rocker arm. I still can't believe that Fred Nelson was able to call up all his contacts and find a Jesel rocker on the shelf in Modesto so I could get back on the water on Saturday afternoon. Thank you Fred. See you at Shasta this Saturday Byron. Thanks again, Keith

Hey guys I didn't get to meet all that I had hoped to but CAS, Jethro, Diggler, Spectra Toad, Witchcraft & all the others I can't remember your names from the dock on Sunday it was nice meeting you. I just must have poor timing cause I just never seemed to find anyone on the water & just kind of gave up. We went to the "cove" on Saturday as soon as we got in about 3:00 and a few guys said that the group split up like oil on water  then stayed out too late & didn't know anything about a pot luck dinner.
Squirt, sorry I couldn't find you in the cove but we went there & again no one around ???
Maybe next year maps with designated meeting areas, beaches and a schedule of times would help. I had planned on being in the water around 1:00 Saturday but the launch ramp couldn't drop us in for almost 2 hours  If I had any idea of the launch delays I'd have left 3 or 4 hours sooner.
Well, live & learn
On another note I would just like to find out if anyone would be interested in a nor-cal get together around the end of July next year at Berryessa? a little later than the April get togethers since it's still to cold there & the weather is to unpredictable plan for or maybe at Folsom. I'm open for input

Charly, I'm up for some more Nor-cal fun spots. I have been wanting to checkout Berryessa or Rollins etc...
BK, thanks for the pic. I didn't think my roost got out there like that.
I think we oughta print a bunch of those pictures of CAS out and hand them up in post offices all over the west coast.
Diggler, great pictures. I always forget to get pictures. I get too sidetracked. I did get some at the dock but I forgot about camp. I am sure Misty will be up for Lost Isle. She is still talking about it.

Todd, Tyeson, you both get "5" star ratings! thanks again for the ride on Sunday. Tell Tyeson I'm sorry for not waiting after he fried his flywheel. I couldn't resist taking a ride on that drag boat!
Tell Misty that I'm going to start attending her Aerobics class! I'm going to get my groove on!

I'm in for a Berryessa trip.058, did you make to Tower? Didn’t you offer me a beer in a thread from months ago, since I didn't see you I didn't get to collect. I will keep you in mind for Berryessa & anyone else that responds. I just like Berryessa better when the water has warmed up some & you can plan on some sun, April is just to unpredictable there & the water is cold.

Cas-Glad to hear your outing was a success, sounds like everyone had a blast! Sorry I missed it but had tranny problems in my blazer and didnt trust it. Gnarley, you need to start setting your clock 5 hours ahead so you can start getting there when the festivities start! :D Oh, and Im up for an outing at Berryessa, never been there, just post when.

Diggler, Don't tell her that. She may dare you to get up on the floor at Lost Isle and show what you learned.
No problem about taking off. I probably would have too. That boat was bitchen'. It sounded so sweet when he left. It just got up and was gone.
Tyeson just took off the gear on the starter so the flywheel was in good shape. :D

Wow! What a weekend! As a host, I couldn't have asked for a better group of people....you ALL were Awesome!
Thanks to YOU ALL for making this past weekend what it was.
Todd, Tyeson, no need to apologize. I'm the one that should apologize to you guys for putting you right next to that permanent resident's trailer, next year I'll know better. wink
I hope I wasn't too awfully bad as an MC, I hate talking in front of a group of people but after that damn good pot luck dinner, I felt I had to do something other than walk around handing out the prizes. Speaking of which, the "awards" seemed to get a few laughs...hey Digg, how was lunch today? :D
TP3 has been put in stone, it's Aug 22, 23 & 24, 2003. I have 42 campsites reserved along with the covered theatre area for our pot luck dinner, "awards" ceremony and talent show on Sat night.
After this weekend, I can honestly say, the LBBA is here to stay. A couple of people are going to start it up in Oregon with a gathering tentatively scheduled for the 3rd week in July, 2003. Also, Witchcraft and Spectratoad are going to schedule a gathering in the Reno area...June maybe?
Well, I need to get going but there's more to come from me as I have a few pictures to post up.

TPII was the bomb! If you missed it, make a point of coming next year. It's a rare occasion to see a gathering of that many hot boats in one place(except maybe the drags!!!).
Cas hosted a great weekend. Thanks buddy!
Too bad ***boat missed the boat. There were plenty of "feature quality" boats to chose from.

cas-had a great time.perfect organization.just enough activites.to jim lee-thanks for the quarters for the shower.since i get dirty at work i like to be clean on weekends.dirk-hope you had a good time as copilot.i enjoyed having you along..one of the things i like about the jet boats is checking out how the owners repair/improve thier boats.i will be watching for more weekend meetings to attend.even though i dont have a jet boat i have worked on a few.if i could figure out how to make a jet run 100mph and cruise at 90 i would probably get one.

Hey Robbie, Thanks for taking my dad back to the camp to retreve my boat trailer, It would have been a long tow back. As far as the boat goes it was only the Gear on the starter shredded. Diggler, No problem on leaving, We all had a long drive back that day and can't blame you one bit. Cas The dates are on the calender for TP3.

Cas, Was a Pleasure meeting you and your wife, along with the other wonderful people.
Wish I could have been there for the full time.
Next year we WILL be there. Got the block out of the boat and it is now in the engine shop, again. they were a little slow in diagnosing the water problem so we couldn't get there for the weekend. once again thank you for the hospitality and the frendship.

Steve, Shirley,
It was great meeting you 2! Thanks so much for coming down at least to meet a few people. I'm real sorry about your engine but probably not as sorry as you, I know you've been working real hard to get it running.
When you do get it going, give me a holler and I'll see if I can get out for a little run with you.
