Spent three days in havasu had a great time, boat ran good, great weather. Stopped at blue water casino on the way home sunday, and my wife hit a 250.00 jackpot, all good so far right? WRONG about three hours out from parker we got gas and we were back on the road. When all of a sudden I see a HUGE piece of pipe in the road.I swerved to avoid it but somehow my trailer hit it. It made a very loud noise and in a matter of seconds two flats on my trailer. (REALLY PISSED NOW) I had to drop my boat on the side of the 10 fwy to go get two tires.I saw a sign that said cabazon next exit, got off and couldnt find SHIT,every thing was closed, (REALLY PISSED NOW).So long story short I had to drive all the way to moreno valley to get two new tires.Found a good year tire store that closed at 4.00pm and it was 6.00pm and they opened to help me (thanks guys)The funny thing is that I passed about a dozen chevron texaco am/pm none of theese so called service stations had any tires just mini marts SAD THING so we spent half of my wifes money from her winnings on tires.Oh well cant wait for next months trip, I think its time to store the boat out threre. Almost forgot CHP pulled over to assist and said the same piece of pipe took out some guys fuel line on his camero. I guess SHIT HAPPENS.

So, are you going to buy two more new tires for the other side, or are they still new?
Sorry to hear about the bad news. Just think, it could have been 11pm Sunday night without any jack pot money.

HBJET the other tires are about a year old, the tires are all just passanger car tires I been told that I should replace all with trailer tires, WHAT DO YOU THINK.

There is a thread somewhere on the forums discussing passenger or trailer rated tires. The trailer rated tires have a stronger sidewall.

How big is your boat?
If you have a 19' boat, then car tires will be fine, just check them.....remember, the tires blew because of something in the road, not tire failure.
