New Hot Boat Mag

Just got the new mag last night and on the cover is a boat that says "Whipple 1100" on the scoop. The picture was taken at the gas dock at Lake havasu Marina. I guess that boat was not "to loud" for them because it was a magazine shoot :confused:

With a 1100 Super Duper under the hatch you would think at least a lifeline would be in order....

Even though the Pic is taken at the infamous Havasu Marina, and they incorrectly called it a Bullett 26 on the cover, and they screwed up the pic alingment on the two page layout,
GT's boat looked really sick in the spread...that is the best looking 25 out there...If I were not hung up on cats, that would be my next boat.. :)
Now why did they need to test all the fishing boats? :confused:

Now why did they need to test all the fishing boats? :confused: The boat is very nice, but if GT tries to launch it there himself they might not let him. Just thought it was kind of ironic :rolleyes:

Thanks for the positive input on the boat. You want to know whats funny? That boat is so damn quiet with those gattlin mufflers by IMCO its unbelievable. I was surprised they never got a front view of the girl at the helm, WOW! I guess they did not want to have "that kind of image". As far as the life jackets go, who knows? My wife and I love that boat, Its a kick in the ass to drive.

Oh I almost forgot. Im going to need to get a few sets of stickers for my scoop. :D It made 1140hp on the dyno on 110 octane. But a mere 988hp on 91 octane with a conservative setup. It ran 111 with the 988 tune up in it, and its been there since I put the boat in the water, Thats plenty! So I guess I need some whipple 988 stickers(ha ha).
