You guys missed out, it was a really good time and Jason is the man!! Whipped Caliber is pretty badass for the putting the boat out as well. When it's raining like an SOB and your soaked to the bone the only thing to do is stop fighting it and crack a beer or two.

Honestly, the rain didn't bother me one bit until I was in the boat! :cool:
Someone told me they heard this was biggest one day storm in 50 years. What better time to break out the tube??? Maybe next time we'll tube the LA River!!! :D Although in 50 years I'll be 83 years old, so maybe someone else will need to tube and I'll flag!!! :p

It wasn't raining when I started getting uncovered and hooked up. According to the online weather radar I checked right before pulling out, there was no rain east of the 5 frwy, so I thought we'd get ahead of it and stay ahead of it all of the way. WRONG!!!! Oh well, what're gonna do? If that's the worse abuse that boat ever sees, I'm not doing too bad!!!

Not only did we tube in the rain, but I believe tubing is illegal on Lake Elsinore, so we beat the law too!!! I don't think we put any other boats in danger though. :D

Frank Thanks Frank! I actually made the sober decision to pull off the tubing in the rain stunt the night before. Then when the conditions were so bad I couldn't bring out my boat, I gave up on the idea. When Mark mentioned launching, I ran my tubing idea by him and the wheels were set in motion. All I can say is Good Times!!!!
