First the pics need to be uploaded to a server that can be accessed with a url (your own personal web space or any other sight that will let you store pics or files). Then, just create a new post with the following string:
yourpic
Where yourpic is the full web address (URL) of the file. If you want to see an example, hit the quote button on an existing post that has a pic in it and there you go!

At the bottom of the post a new topic page there are some buttons one is *image* click on that and copy your pictures properties, must be from a web site http ://blah blah blah, then say ok and test it by clicking on preview post then if it works click add topic and bingo
