Now thats not nice. Sometimes you cant pick who people let on there boats. If your along for the ride you have no say . I'm no longer a co-pilot.So I cant say who goes. Just happy to be on the water.

DD, there shouldn't be much of a line.....maybe 10 min. max. BTW, don't be discouraged by weather reports DD, I know the news said possible t-storms, but that's higher elevation for one and the temp. is still hovering around 92 degrees.

We really need to plan a Pyramid trip instead of Castaic. Castaic is a good close place to test real quick, but for a good relaxing and drinking time Pyramid is the only place to be. It takes the fun out of the day when you have to worry about getting pulled over all the time. just my $.02

At castaic rhey are pretty strict about everything, every single time i am there they always ask if i have my silencers in the headers and yes they do check at least me they do? so I would recommend u put them on. Never seems to fail that i always get checked.....(Bassets over transom)

I just got back from Castaic and the "Patrol" is in full effect !!! I saw Lifeguard boats hiding behind the point on the North end of the lake by the speed alley and were pulling all the boats over that came flying out of there. Watch yourselves, cause they'll be watching also.
As for my boats break-in of the new motor....It went well. There was a big junp in power and speed but I had an electrical problem that would shut the whole boat down. Needless to say not one SOB came by to ask if I needed help when I was a-drift with the engine cover up. "F" all of them!! I hope there shit sinks! So without a tow coming soon I ended up cutting some of the wires that went to the "non-critcal" components and hard wired my fuel pump and distributor to get the bastard running. Now I a new project with this boat...Does it ever frikin end ?? Can't I just take my boat out and enjoy a frikin day of cruising and drinking without coming home with another F'n problem. Needless to say I'm not real happy right now and I'm venting... Oh I forgot to mention the Cluster Flub at the ramp !!! I almost jumped into someones boat and beat the shiznit out of him.... Am I just getting older and more impatiant??? Or are these people just getting frikin dumber ???
Goodluck tomorrow, I wish I could join ya...But NOOOO, I'll be (B)reaking (O)ut (A)nother (T)housand. How true that is !

So how was Sunday? I have envy to all that made it. The ride I had decided to spend the day with her botfriend. So I got stuck at home. Didn't want to show with the mullet crew. No one would of said hello. How was the patrol. Im jealous of all you lucky dogs. I have a for sure ride next sunday. A trust worth friend. I wont be bringing the twin. The weather was awesome! Met up with Wild Lavey, Chestah and 6741?, Whipped Caliber, hcb. It was nice to finally meet some of you guys! About time! The turn out wasn't as large as expected, but still cool. The deputies were in FULL effect! Even the damn undercovers were there. That place has really changed to the shits. Overall had a good time.

Totally cool seeing Chestah, 6741 again, and meeting some new people, Whipped Caliber and family, who are really great people. Nextasex was there, although I didnt get a chance to talk to him before he bailed. It's true, the "party patrol" aka gestapos were in full effect. They sat in the canyon for like 2 hours, watching all of us drink "sodas". They probably thought that we were the thirstiest people on the lake!!! To those that didnt make it out, sorry that we missed you. To HTM Lady...your a total flake!!!! You're the one that planned this shindig, and you dont even show. That's pretty weak. Did you get it back? I'm glad the boat ran good, but sorry to hear about the cover. From all the patrol at Elsinore and Castaic, I think Pryamid will be the only local lake to boat at. HB, Just folded it over,like a old man's hair in the wind!!! Need to make some bracing and hold downs for it. It had 5 small screws holding the lift, the shop that worked on the lid to fit the whipple used drywall screws!! The turnout was pretty decent this Sunday. Usually when you have 10 people "claim" they're going, you'll get about half - we had 6.
WhippedCaliber - Good seeing you and Sydney again - did I tell you what a nice floor you have in your boat, great drinking platform. 80+MPH while riding in the bow was pretty bitchin' - until the hatch popped. I have to admit, your rig is a true sleeper complete with through hub exhaust, he he he. I'm sending you my doctor bill for injuries resulting from your ski lessons, I'm sure Shontel will be sending you one also - Chestah don't do the splits!

Wild Lavey - Always good hanging with you. This guy brought out a boat load of kids that were having a blast - BTW, cool kite!
Nextasex - Finally got to meet Frank & wife very cool. That 26 Lavey is a sweet boat - perfect size, amenities, space, etc. The 80's bud, we're bringin' them back - thanks for the O.M.D. tip, I'll get it tonight.

Sounds like everyone had a great time. Wish I could have made it. We'll have to make it up to Pyramid. The cove is much better there than at Castaic. Well just glad to hear that everyone had a good time and hopefully next time I will be able to make it.

Had a blast, it was good meeting you guys out there. That Baja was key for the drinking situation,we need to do that again sometime. Have you guys ever been to Buena Vista its about 1.5 hrs past Castaic, I know its a long hull for some of you but if you make a weekened out of it its a blast camping, they are pretty cool about the partying as long as you keep your cool, and i think there is only 1 patrol on the whole lake.Anyways I think that would be a blast to go party there for a weekened.

had a blast this weekend. the gustafos were the only ones that somewhat put a damper on day. while i was towing one of my kids on the tube, i got pulled over for going the wrong way. the undercover cops were also overkill. chestah, good to see you again. whipped caliber good to meet you and the family, and thanks for the bubblies. hcb, your buddys boat is pretty cool, gotta roll with us to catalina sometime. jeff r u 6741? didnt know who the blonde dude was, but cool hangin with everyone. as far as castaic, i think it will be awhile before i go back there.

I was at Castaic on the 4th, went to Kings River on the 7th for the week and it was great. We stayed at the Royal Oak Resort. Had a great afternoon at Kelly's up the river. Originally posted by PussyPusher:

I thought that I had seen you at Royal Oak. Were you parked in the lagoon? We spend every 4th up there. I was the one guy with a Panther Jet. We to stay at Royal Oak, have for years. Maybe we should all meet up at Pyramid soon. That would be a blast and the cops are way cooler.
