Ron Hartman told us to show up and take home the oldest boat trophy or something like that. I am just up for the experience. :D

i had no idea lavey went back that far, you definetly need to go!! i just learned the lavey triva a couple weeks ago!! thats so cool!!

Sorry about that, and I think it is Rick Hartman. He drives the Lavey race boat, we got a tour of the facility a while back...here are the details:
Fiesta Henderson Casino/Hotel
Special Room Rates $69.00
Please call the Central Reservation Office 888-899-7770 and mention Lavey Craft Regatta to get special rates. Rooms are guaranteed by credit card must be received 14 days of making reservation or it is subject to cancellation. The Fiest Henderson will take Lavey Craft Group reservations until 8-26-03. After that date, reservations are based on availability and at the current room rate.
A Great Family Weekend at Lake Mead - Food, Fun and Games.

when was the last time you where at lavey.rick h. hasent driven the race boat in two seasons just thought you should know. Kevin Cooper bought the old boat last season and raced it for one season and then sold it to someone back east.the new race boat is a 2750 thats runing about 82 to 84 mph.

I think it was right around the time of the last regatta, or maybe a little bit before, cause I remember him telling us to go and such.

I will be there as well. Sunburners and all else that were there last year,, the parking lot swimstep party is ON once again, let's make it bigger this year.
