Does anyone know where there is a good place to launch our watercrafts that is between laughlin and lake havasu?? I was thinking topac but am not quite sure, how much it is and if it is worth it, we are staying in laughlin however we will be going to havasu area?, also if so how much would it cost?

How about launching from wherever you are staying? Assuming you are staying at a casino of course.
Jackoff Smith park is free I believe if you want to drive down to needles.

Nice one Beached! Do you have to "stand" on that one? :D
That little Honda is a really impressive motor. Regardless of what it is in. I know most of you here hate PWC's, but it is a trick little setup. Honda always has the trick stuff.
As far as launching one, if your truck can touch the water, you can launch it anywhere. That's the beauty of them, no worries on lake levels.
Best line I ever heard with my jet ski in the back of my truck while getting gas..."son, there ain't any snow around these parts"

well guys, I know you all hate the pwc's but i just could not afford the 60,000 dollar boat that i would like to have, besides i am only 26 and i think that was perfect for a start in the water world with me

I just picked up a brand new Bayliner 195 for probably less then you paid for that Honda PWC.
Age is no excuse either. I am 22 years old.
I'll bet insurance on my boat is less then the insurance on your PWC as well.

Launch at Moabi. Great ride down to Havasu.

Topoc is $5 or $10 bucks. Just above the bridge. Its an easy trip down through the gorge. Gas there was $2.49 a gallon.

You can also launch at Avi Casino for a few bucks. But, if your their to ride launch in the Laughlin/Bullhead area there are several places where you can back in for free.(near Terrible Herbst for one)We like to do the ride from our house in bullhead down to sandbar (apprx. 45-50mi.)
How do you like the Honda? How long have you had it? What is the real (GPS) top end, and how's the holeshot? I love my Hustler and Nordic but I still get a kick out of the PWC, and I'm look'in to replace one or both of our Kawi's. Can't decide between the Honda turbo and the Sea-Doo supercharged.
The whole issue about PWC is about the riders too many: renters, loaners, and kids riding them. It's like anything else the bad apples give the whole breed a bad name!

Where is site 6???? How do i get there from laughlin??? My whole thing, is that I can make it all the way to havasu and about half way back from laughlin, the problem lies though, i do not want to pay out of my !@@ for gas. So i was thinking of driving down river toward havasu to reduce the use of fuel to limit my filling up at 2.49/gallon.

As far as my honda is concerned, I love it, I am not the typical rider, that cuts off all the boaters and so forth, I agree about the renters and kids situation, and can see how you guys can get sick and tired of the poor riding skills, and that is probably how people get hurt, I do not have the turbo, and have not rode one, however I am going to a demo day for Honda pretty soon, which will be held at Long Beach Harbor I believe. As far as getting up out of the whole, it is fast real fast, I can pull a skier out of the water at 1/4 throttle. So lets see a seadoo do that! The engine is spectacular, just picture a civic engine, fast and furious or not??? Hopefully soon the mods will come. If you guys have the opportunity, take one for a spin, it is spectacular for a PWC or should I say small Boat!

The only proper way to launch a PWC is as follows:
1.Pull out transom plug.
2.Back trailer into water until PWC floats(temporarily)
3.Unhook trailer while in water
4.Go buy a boat

But who am I to judge. When I was 26 I had at least 18 emptys rolling around in the bottom of my flat.
Some how I out grew that stage with out killing anyone.

I heard the aquatrax would scatter if you got on them alot. I'm a honda nut and it's really embarassing. And by honda nut I mean dirtbikes and such, not the cars

Just an FYI bout the Hondas
Right now Impros does a repitch to the stock impellers that nets a 2mph gain on top end without losing any bottom. They also sell a tweaked Solas that gives even more gain.

If ya for some reason launch at the AVI ya have to take a few precautions;
The AVI launchramp is better suited to jets than props, especially direct drive/v drive props who should never launch at Avi. So you're OK there.
You'll have to really back in,,, usually, perhaps, all four wheels of your tow vehicle in the water to get your watercraft off the bunks,, unless the river level is way up.
Then remember just because the river is up when you launch,,, doesn't mean it'll be that way when you return but with water lice,,errr,,aaahhh, I mean a PWC,, you should have no problems except all four wheels of your tow vehicle in the water.
The river levels are far more various along the Laughlin stretch than downstream of Parker.
Have fun,, If I was to Buy a PWC I'd buy the Honda. Stay clear of Wakeboarders,,, some have insane tempers if you get to close.

We have a Honda also, along with a 21' Ultra. We just did what one of the guys suggested and launched at Jack Smith Park. That is your best bet. We stay at the AVI a lot and it is a long ride to the sandbar or Havasu.
The launch ramp at Jack Smith is free and a short ride to the sandbar.
Take the hwy back towards Needles and stay on it until you go under the freeway. You will pass a Kentucky Fried Chicken on your left. Go straight and turn right just before the bridge. Take that road to the end and you will be at the ramp.
There is no gas or anything else there.
