Hey Mike,
I ran into a buddy of yours on Elsinore today. Sean - he has a red Cyclone with a really bad gel coat. He says Todd is gonna work his magic on it soon.
Very cool dude, along with his wife Michelle and his kids (Spencer and Hannah).
I was out in my brother's Howard cruiser.

I was out in my brother's Howard cruiser. Actually, that is one of Mark Wright's (Wrightnow) buddies that Mike and I both met through Mark. He is a cool guy, and yeah, that boat has a really bad gelcoat.

STOP YOUR WHINING! Some of us need these shots for diagnostic purposes. You know, to break 50 mile per hour!
BTW Cyclone, got home Sunday and gutted my steering. Ordered everything new, from the steering wheel to the tiller arm. If THAT doesn't take care of it, the next picture of it will be on BOATTRADER!

Can I Get a little lovin' on the driving shots too? I made enough Passes!

cyclone
08-21-2003, 12:03 PM
roostwear- i was going to say that the reverse bucket may be dragging when the boat comes out of the hole because my dad's boat does that but then i realized you said the steering was just hard to turn right. The newer style nozzle doesn't have the reverse opening so far down on the nozzle. i switched to a rack and pinion setup and it works smoothly.

roostwear
08-21-2003, 12:21 PM
Bummer is, I can't fit a r&p behind the dash, so I'm locked in to a rotary. We'll see what a new rotary with a 3:1 does, versus the rack and pinions I'm used to at 3.5:1
If I can just get this to handle right, I'll either put some squeeze to this motor, or buy a second boat to go fast :D
