nice! that boat is gonna be one bad a$$ ride. Wild Lavey, you have some good pic's. I've been wanting to ask this question for some time. Why do the Offshore stile boats back into the slips when they are in transet, but when they put them into there berth slip they pull in. I live at LOTO and see this all of the time. I have a 20 foot boat so I pull in. Thanks

Wild Lavey, great pics, it looks like you guys had fun out there.
SocalOffshore,
The SCOPE group left from Newport at about 9:30 AM and there were some pretty big swells for about the first 1/3 of the trip to Avalon, then it smoothed out somewhat. We left Avalon sometime around 2:00 PM and had a fairly smooth ride back to Newport. If I remember correctly, you're getting a 32' Schiada. You shouldn't have any problems with the water out there in that boat.

.................Barry well great question... first trip will either be the AHBA poker Run last weekend in april or the DCB mini regatta in Parker first weekend in may....... I plan on doing a minimum of 2 ocean launches...the scope poker run and the pobra races in HB... other than that who knows?

Steamin,
Thanks for the info. I almost went with the 29' Shockwave. It's a great boat. Hope to be out there by the beginning of May.
