Rain is due to hit Friday eve and some slight chance of showers Saturday, then clearing(the latest)
They will be towing many of the race rigs through town(actual parade) late this afternoon. Way cool to hear their practice runs while sitting at the desk working :D
Saturday they usually have the docks open too.
Jetski races this weekend in the Harbor Beach also, right accross parking lot from the APBA race pits.
This little town pulls in some pretty cool events each year.

Oceanside Harbor has a ramp but is short and steep. If your boat is not to big it will work, if it is you will have to use multiple lanes to approach at an angle or your trailer will high center at the top. You can also launch out of Dana point and drive the boat down. Their ramp is very nice.

thanx, h cig. i think ill launch @ danapoint and drive down. its probably the best way to avoid all the congestion near the race sight.

Agreed, good choice. Plus the ramp might be slightly congested anyhow.
No sign of rain yet, still sunny right now..Fingers crossed that it'll miss us completely.
