The wife and I are trying to get out there for OP6. However, we don't have a clue where to stay. Can someone give me info on room rates and availability?

Yeah, we're trying to coordinate everything to be able to get out there. Our BOTE event is the weekend before OP6 and we're looking at making an extended vacation to hang out with the boys from my side of the USA. Unfortunately we will have to fly, towing takes waaaaaaaay too long to get there and back. I have a flight option (no 747 :D ) lined up but the accomodations at OP6 is where I get lost. I don't have a clue about the place.

That's so cool that your going to come on out here. You won't need your boat, there will be so many for you to catch a ride on. Besides, who wants to worry about there boat on a lake you have never been on, with other people you have never boated with!
Hope you make it out!

HB, no doubt. I would hate to come home with a prop scar as a souvenier. I'll leave her home this time.

AHH MAN, I thought there was going to be some trouble there. now I dont want to go. I guess I'll just have to leave tell the 12 girls we cant make it. :D
Anyone now of a good place to stay that can handle 12-14 people? But that is close to pok-a-hos. I expect my group to be pretty drunk, and I dont want any of us driving around. I was thinking of the LBH. but I know my girls wont want to pay that much. Yeah my "list" jumped from 8 to 12, but I wont believe it until I see it.

That would be funny seeing 12 drunking women stumbling around for 3 miles to get to the hotel.
Ok just from the little knowledge I have of havasu, there really isnt a low rate hotel close to kokomos. Does any one know of a taxi/limo service out there?

RD It's a walk up the street and across the parking lot. 1/4 mile maybe. Well lit too! Good for stumbling. Rooms are OK, nothing great, security guard in parking lot. Big Jacuzzi! :D

I stayed at hidden palms last weekend, and the el aztec is across the street from there, they are nice, but a little too far for me. Looks like the ramada, motel 6, or bridge view for me.
Thanks for the info.

One more thing if they dont give you the rates I got, throw my name (Steven Cervantes) out there and the price I got. If that doesnt work, let me know and I'll call & put up the fight for anyone who wants to stay there.
