Going to pickup our new boat next Wednesday. I'm going to run it on Thanksgiving day @ Pleasant in AZ and then bring it home to sit untill late spring. (that's going to kill me) Hope it's a short winter.

HD-Did your dad ever find a boat? I am still trying to sell my other one. When he said he was going to have you come up to look at it, I was going to offer to put you & your wife up in a hotel for a night. I was not sure how far your drive was. Offer still stands.

Nice. KPHayes, do you run on the chain? Which lake do you launch in? We launch at Ben Watts in Fox lake. We usually hang out on Petite Lake on the sand bar.
This is the old rig. Did you see us last year?

Congrats on the new boat it looks grate.
I did the same think last year I purchased my boat in October and went back in April and ran the poker run then came home it was a blast you should give that some thought if your going back in the spring.
Best of luck. :) :) :)

Very nice... Look forward to seeing on the chain next season. My liberator is Sold. It will be on it's way to AZ here real soon. I put a bid in on a 25' Checkmate. Looking to spend some time in it on the big lake. It is no where near as nice as that cat....

http://free.***boat.net/gallery/Reader_Rides/Outboards/1VSImage_16.JPGDid not get up there but a few times. Actually we launch right on Petite. I will have to look for you this spring/summer. I am rebuilding my engine this winter and should be ready to go as soon as the weather allows. Look for this.

Finally back to the grind. New boat ran awsome! Big difference, you actually feel safe in the high 90's. Still need some getting used to, but it's going to be a blast. Is it summer yet?

Mike-Definitly hook-up this summer. What does the new boat look like? When you get pics, post them. Always like to see peoples new toys. I'm suprised I missed you out there last year, especially since we launch @ Ben Watts.

No good pic.'s yet.
Ben Watts is right next to my house. I live in Hilldale manor (right off the frontage road). If you where to shoot down that Channel right by Freddie's it will take you to redhead lake where I have been launching since we moved here last nov.

Very nice. Where did you pick it up from? Let's see more when you get them. Is that a private launch back on redhead lake?

We have not picked it up yet, it is scheduled for Jan 18.... It is out in Hudson NH. (Why is it we will travel to ends of the country for our sport?...lol). Our subdivision has a private launch. We pay $75 in association fees to up keep the property. Not bad....

Nice looking Boat Mike. I like the colors too. Looks like she is in great shape. I looked up some other Checkmates and the hull looks great. SHould be a fine riding boat in any kind of water. You will have to slow down so we can keep up with you in the rough stuff.
Now I know where the blower motor is going??? wink Sounds like a new hatch must be in the works.
