It should be nice and humid in June. There are alot of places to stay as far as Hotels,Motels & camp grounds. I will ask around if there are places to rent on the water for the weekends.

If you're coming through Clintonville take Hwy 22 north out of town. Shawano is about 18 miles. When you get to Shawano Take Interstate 29 south. Towards Green Bay. [This is a right turn off 22] Then drive about 2 miles to the NEXT exit. This will be Hwy 47 & 55 juntion. Stop at the end of the exit and turn LEFT. Go straight into town. You are now on Airport Drive. You will go though 1 stop-n-go traffic light. [There is a Perkins Resturant on the left at this corner.] GO STRAIGHT ahead !/2 mile. You will pass a small airport on your right. Take the next RIGHT turn on Gumaer Road. Go 1 block to the Light House tavern. You can launch here and someone will be there to help you! Good luck and see you there.
PS: you will past a Best Western and a Country Inn Suites Motel just before you get here!

Country Inn ph#715-526-2044
SANGERS RULE!
For those who are wondering, Shawano Lake is a fair sized lake. Kind of a pear shape that is 7 miles long and 3 miles wide. Go for airing out! CAUTION....Lots of fishing boats and jet skis. Cops are OK, But there IS a noise limit! 86 db So,....if you got mufflers, bring em!
See ya there

I'll be expecting a ticket. I run a set of Bassetts dry. I have mufflers, but I don't think they bring it below 86db.

Getting warmer here! Can't wait I hear ya, it was real nice the entire weekend, although I didn't make it out on the water. Been working on the hydro and had to fix the jet boat (gas line fell off the pickup on the passenger side tank). As of right now I'm still planning on being up there. How the injection coming along?

Anyone know how the turnouts looking for next weekend? I'm heading up early Saturday morning, probably arrive around 9 or 10, where's everyone going to be? Lighthouse Pub for a few pre-lake beverages? We're also staying the night, so what's everyone up to after dark? Anything worthwhile in Shawano?
Flattie: Do I dare ask how the injections going?
