I'm a west coast boater so am not real familiar with east coast manufacturers. I may, next year, be looking to turn my Hallett Vector into a 24 SB. Are any of the guys that frequent this forum famailiar with SuperBoats? I see that John has retooled his 21 and 34 decks to go along with the Y2K30. Does anyone know if he'll be redoing the 24's deck?

HotRodder, several years ago I had the pleasure of riding in a 24'SuperBoat, off the Coast of New Jersey, an old friend of my brother owned it...very (solid) fast boat...and yes very narrow, cut thru waves without an issue.
I see them quite often here on the East Coast...

SuperBoat builds a great boat. They are very plain, and do not have a lot of room, but they will out handle, and outlast most things on the water.

I too think them plain and simple because John, the owner, seems to just think about going fast.
All Superboats are very narrow and that is why I posted under the also narrow Donzi Classic 22'.
Even his 30' will only take twin small blocks, not two big blocks.
I believe that the narrow-ness helps preformance.
Ride a 24' in sloppy water and you will be a convert.

Superboats 34' takes two big blocks.
A 30' with a 425 Hp 496 mag HO will be a 70 mph boat and do high 60s every day you go out, would be my guess.
Very light weight boat because of the beam and simple cabin layout, etc.

Hotrodder, find a 27 excalibur [narrow beam]from the 80's and build a hipo engine for it.It will cut through the rough like a knife and go fast as well.
