In the House that is :( Were lucky to see the mid 60's for the high this week. Don't remember Summer rushing out this fast...ever.
On another note...I here through the BOTE Grape Vine... While in rout to his home from RaysTown..."WaxBoy" was spotted actually Winterizing his Boat(like a mad man) while MikeTSouth was driving the Ice Cream Truck.
*More WaxBoy updates to come...stay tuned. :p

Got the 2 wood stoves going tonight, and it's snowing up on top of Mt. Washington 40 miles to the north of here...
Perhaps I should winterize this weekend...

We had 25 degrees here in PA last night. Next week is to be warmer....So they say. Were going to make a run to Raystown this month for a Fall Cruise, Mike.

Three of them are fixer uppers and one is in good shape, it's a 79 model Artic Cat with 134 miles on it. For sale, maybe. Plan is to fix them up and take to camp. There is a senic highway that runs across the mountians here that is closed to traffic in the winter, due to the fact that they do not clean it. Approx. 30 miles long with some beautiful scenery.

I opened up my enclosed trailer the other night just to make sure the sleds are ok. I think the white shit is just around the corner. :p

Well, i got my T.Swift science book out and started to construct a time machine such that i could relive some of the summers events.
Well, needless to say i shortcut the power supply by using cheap parts, it shocked me and i got pissed off at it and stomped it apart. Before i broke it up i did see that i could make it work.

I also found out that jetboats dont like running backward, causes reversion.

Hi HammerDown.....Those avatars are cool! Are they mpegs shot with a digital camera? How do you get them to repeat and where are you hosting from? I've heard Raystown is a madhouse in the Summer and beautiful in the Fall. Its a 2hr drive west for us. Shooting for Oct 25th. Hope the lake isn't frozen by then. Planning on boating this weekend, Mike.

So ya say Raystown Lake is a mad house during the mid summer huh...Hmmmmm, guess I'll pass on any Summer time visits and do it again after Labor day.
My Avatar is from Raystown Lake...I'm sure its awsome on that lake when the trees are starting to turn...if I lived a little closer I make another trip this Fall, but I belive one more time around my area and I'm done...have a great time and try to post some pics from your up coming trip.
