Just got back from another fantastic weekend with all the BOTE people. The lake was super and the party Sat. night was super, thanks to Ray(Hammerdown) and his rental of the cottage. Hope everybody made it home safely.

I, thanks to Rat, also had a great weekend. Dam, that boat is fast. I really didnt mind, that much, being the 'trailer bitch'. We made excellent time and schedule. :o
It appears from the posts that everyone made it home safe. Fantastic. :)
It was an immeasurable pleasure seeing all of you again. I have reviewed the videos, but have not started digitizing and manipulating them yet. While they did not turn out as good as i would like them to (the camera platform was not stable enough due to water conditions, and the operator is just not stable) i can make some good out of them. :rolleyes:
The lake was very impressive. Long, thin, windey, with good, clear water. This considering all the rain we have had and the weather was perfect. wink

Nova and JetMech, it wasn't a super wide lake, but hell, you could run out there and still have a good time.

Ok, i am thru the hardest part of the reaction.
I did not drink or do that much, and wondered why i got it so bad.
I have come to know that it was the stress of Rat letting me drive his boat (scared the dogshit outta me). That is a real nice boat. I dont have any nice thing like that and that he let me even get in it made me gay,,, or rather happy.
So i have started to work on the video. Find below an avatar i made for Hammer. Took me an hour to find a loop point that would work, as the water was rather rough, just like the camera operator. I got this from the first minute of 45.

1. download video "target save as"
(remember where you put it)
2. Open Media Player, click Tools (up top) and then Options
3. make sure the "download codec automatically" is checked.
4. get online
5. find where you stored the video (.WMV) file and click on it.
6. You got XP (i think). It should just work.
What i dont understand is that you should already have the codec (decompression scheme program). If you played the CD i sent you it is the same shit.

Sounds like we missed a party. I haven't been on the computer for a couple of months. Where was all this fun going on? The Jet hasn't been out since Lake Anna. I would have liked to go to something again. We are going to take the hot rod to Hot Springs, Arkansas at the end of the month.
