If anyone in Southern California is thinking of getting a wakeboard tower, I highly recommend the "Phatbudde" tower I just had installed on my 20' Baja Outlaw. They are in Riverside, and they also did the bimini, the amp and the speakers on the tower.
Aside from looking good, it's sturdy, and it folds easily without tools to fit in my garage.
Carey Bell, the owner, takes a lot of pride in the workmanship, and he is really customer oriented.
They are at www.phatbudde.com. (http://www.phatbudde.com.)
Here's a picture.

And another one.

He will custom make them to fit almost any boat.

They are great towers.
My preference is Skylon's Swoop, but they are only OEM right now and I don't think Baja is on the OEM list right yet.
Wakeboarding magazine has a buyer's guide once a year that lists most of the towers available. Most fold down easily.
Don't for get Air Boom in Canyon Lake. They make a very nice Universal Tower that does not look Universal. Very easy to fold down.
Hey RD, what are you gonna do when I roll up in the Campbell with a tower on it? LOL

Just out of curiosity what did that tower set you back with installation? I have been thinking about doing something similar myself. I figure I'll keep the Bayliner around as my beater boat for skiing and what not.

Boozer, I got it through US RV and Marine in Lake Havasu Cidy, when I bought the boat, so it was a little less than this, but retail is about $2500 for the tower installed, $100 for custom color (other then black or white), $500 for the bimini, and $1300 for the amp and speakers.
OK, I think I got the image thing figured out...just click on the button that says "image"....da...

At first I'd pretend that I don't know you.. As I get a better look at the boat and realize that you just intentionally ruined a classic, I'll probably beat you over the head with a wake skate. :D wink How are them misters treatin ya?
RD LOL, I wouldn't actually put a "roll cage" on, but I do have a removable boom that is going on it. Can't live without a high pull. wink
The mister in the backyard is sweet - I lowere it a foot, and it works perfect. Have not heard from my buddy with his indutrial application yet.

That looks awsome!!! The Phat Buddie tower is the same one I have been looking to get. I saw one on my exact boat at the sandbar about a month ago. Nice thing is I don't have to put a new bimini, the old one should fit.
Although I did like the new 13th floor towers. 13th floor did the tower on the Carrera at the boat show and it looked sweet.

LOL Holy Moly, we all know you'd never, ever add a wakeboard tower to a Campbell! jawdrop That'd be sacrilege and cause for castration! Oh, the humanity of the idea just kills me! devil Ole Billy Campbell must be turning in his grave right now!
Rick
P.S. Send pics when you've got it done. I want to see how it turns out wink

That's the same tower we have.
Make sure to re-tighten the four attaching levers everytime you go out.
Looks nice on your boat, like it belongs there, not some afterthought.
Far far more fun wakeboarding from a tower, get much more air time.
Looks excellent.

The Boom is 7'2" tall with a strap to the nose then two telescoping legs that go to the back corners. I think these look worse, but work well, and go up and down in seconds.

For river rats, I put a Whirley Bar on my Carrera jet. It goes on in just a few minutes, with the stock bimini. No bars or straps go to the stern of the boat to interfere with seating. Wakeboarding to me is no fun without a tower or a pole. If the water is too low for my friends boat we can slap on the Whirley Bar and wakeboard in the shallow stuff. http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/521/794The_Dock-med.jpg

smile_sp smile_sp smile_sp smile_sp Very, very nice! You should see the looks I get when I pull into the marina with that bad boy! The stares and looks of "wow, that guy is so cool", or is it "what a dick", I don't know, but thanks for the laugh. :D

RiverDave still has not noticed the rollcage I drew on his spectra - and it almost looks real!

I was hopping to see one on your flat at the CBBB. :) LOL....I actually had a boom on it a few years ago. Was difficult to wakeboard behind the blown mouse - consistent speed at 23MPH was damn near impossible. And, the wake was not big, but like a curb - almost straight up = no fun.
Picked up the Campbell today, so it will be at the CBBB!
