I'm looking for a new windshield for a customer, for a 21' Eliminator jet boat. Eliminator says they never made one, but I've seen several with them in the past. Does anyone know where to get them? I've found a lot of places that can make one if you have a pattern. I don't have a pattern. Any help would be appreciated., Duane HTP

Trace out where you want the windshield to mount, on paper, and specify forward, or aft deflection, roll it up in a tube and mail it off too Finney's Plastics. Perhaps they were Liberators that you saw, with the windshields?

any good plastic shop will be able to make 1 too your specs. I am assuming its bent? Just make sure they have a oven.

Thank you very much. I've used Finney's in the past and had good luck. I had just forgot about them. I'll give them a try.

Duane, I called Liberator boats in Texas and they had them in stock. They were about $ 575.00
I'd like to put one on the 21' Daytona I just got but was temporarily put off by the price.

I have a 21 Daytona with a windsheild. I replaced mine at Wayne Earl MFG
714-577-0632, they are located in California. I'm sure you can have it shipped.

Mine's got one too, I bought the boat used but I'm pretty sure the windshield got installed by Eliminator. San Diego Eliminator did most of the rigging on the boat from what I understand.

Thanks. It just needs one of your engines, I'd be happy with either the turbo or the blower :). I'm always been in awe of the work you've done on your boats. I wish I had the mechanical aptitude to do the same with mine. And I know JBB approves of my boat since it has the requisite blue and teal in the color scheme. Or were you referring to the blue Glastron on the side of the dock :p
When did you get the 21? I'll bet it feels like a slug out of the hole compared to the Edge, but I'm guessing it rides a little smoother in the rough stuff. What sort of speeds are you seeing in it and how much hp, etc?

I haven't had the Daytona in the water yet.
I just hauled it home from Texas in late Jan.
It'll probably be another month here in Mi.
There's still ice on the lake.
I'll take videos and post them when I run the Daytona.
The good, the bad, or the ugly will be accurately reported.
I can't see the v drive running with the jet up to 100 even if they both had equal hp. The 21' cougar v drive I drove before had a tremendous top end pull that was awesome.

This sure seems strange. The windshield on my Daytona is recessed into the hull. Why would they have the recess but no windshield? Maybe they meant that THEY never made the windshields, they had a supplier make them.
