First of all, how far is the ride upriver from Needles Marina to Laughlin? Lets hear some distances...
As for the comment, back at Piru last summer, myself, PipesClean, JBR, etc had all thrown the gauntlet down that we were gonna grow mullets for OP6. Well, I havent gotten the back of my hair cut for 2 months, and wont until after OP6. I just want everyone to know the misery that I am currently experiencing for everyones enjoyment in June. I ****ing hate long hair!!!! -DD Out

There can be some shallow water up there.....If you do go, look for my Place rudder.
I'd say more like 40 minutes.

It's about a 30 minute ride....
make sure you hit the Laughlin lagoon and Lazy Harry's...
Lazy Harry's is about 10 minutes or so upriver from the AVI. Look for a bunch of flags on the Arizona side, its a Veterans Memorial, the entrance to Lazy harry's is just north of that.
The lagoon is another 5 minutes upriver. The lagoon is hard to spot if you don't know what to look for. The easiest way to find it is going down river from the casinos. After you pass harrahs you will see an old unfinished hotel on the Nevada side. about a mile south of that is the entrance to the lagoon, its on the Nevada side also. keep your eye open for 2 palm trees all be themselves, the entrance is just south of them. The whole lagoon is a no wake zone and is a great place to go for a swim or kick back, also the cops like to stop in there frequently so don't blast in there..you may get a ticket.

Thats right PC, ya had better suffer with a brother. I cant believe how weak having a mullet is now, especially since I was rocking apretty good one back in the Big 80's...guh!!!! I have seen the river pretty shallow in spots as it starts to get later in the year, so if you have a prop, just be careful, cos I already know someone that lost their outdrive up there. -DD Out

I know a couple of people that have destroyed their props trying to get to laughlin.make sure you have a spare prop if you do try.I was told that it's better to go in the afternoon after 2:00 pm,because they release water at davis dam about that time.
