How to upload pictures?

I know this topic is old, but I could not find anything about it. How do I upload pictures in the image gallery?

So if the picture is not on the web, can you upload it to ***boats server? Or where can you upload it?

Sometimes the "upload pictures" prompt doesn't appear on your page when you click on "my gallery".
After you've established an "account" in the ***boat image center, go to "My Gallery" and on the right side is upload picks.
Click on that and a page will appear.
when you click on browse, a window will appear and if you loaded your cameras pics onto a file in your computer, it'll let you scroll to that file.
Then follow the instructions from jrockets post above.

Now how come when I try to add a pic to my post, it shows the link, but not the pic?

How Do I Post An Image?
First you must find the URL to the image. To do this upload the image to the web, or find it online. Right click on the image and chose properties. The path will be displayed in the popup box. It will look something like this: http://www.example.com/mypicture.jpg. If the file ends in htm, html, cfm, php or something other than JPG or GIF then you have the url of the page not the image in the page. Once you have this URL on the screen highlight it and right click. Chose "Copy". Now go to your post or move to the forums and create a post. Where you want to put insert the image type http://www.example.com/mypicture.jpg . What you have done is surround the path to the picture with an opening and closing img tag .
