On my first boat, when I picked it up the interior was really dirty. I used a combination of Murphys Oil soap, Simple green, & Comet for the tough spots. After that I used a good conditioner & protectant to give it some shine.

Ed, I have been using Soft Scrub for years, and have not noticed any problems. I recently just spent 2 large on new interior, and continue to use Soft Scrub. You should be fine with that. -DD Out

So is Soft Scrub ok with colors? I have colored stripes on white.

Fast Irange hand cleaner and a brush worked really well on the interior of my boat. It has colors in it and they seemed fine.

Whatever you use - follow it with 303 protectant. Works great and has a sunscreen in it. I personally use GoJo hand cleaner with a nail brush and wet towels to remove the residue.

I use only Zep products. After trying the rest I only use these. Zep Products

They have furniture polish as well and it works great on the loading ramp to clean hard water spots before they stick too bad. Or just freshin up the shine befor travel...
Home Depot carries the polish but not the cleaner

Tough stuff seems to work well.
