Pet Adoption(PLEASE PLEASE READ)

I was looking at 2 of my 3pets(2 dogs and a cat) that were "rescued." I don't call them that I just call them "damn lucky I found them" :p . They're real great animals because they're thankful for you taking them in and giving them so much. Since this is a rare case for most animals I've decided to kick up a pet adoption site. What I need from everyone else is the occasional donation so that I can pay for the site and possibly improve upon it's quality. The deal is that animals that are "rescues" are free to post but breeders must pay $2 a month to run an add. Even though it's not much it still pays seeing as their purpose is to sell the pups for pure profit. I'd really like to avoid breeders since I'd really only like to run a message board and a few news articles. I will catagorize everything by states all I need from you guys is some refferals if know someone with homeless pups and also some #'s of local pounds across the country. That way people who have a hard time looking at all the homeless animals like I do only have to look one at a time.

Probably have my groups messed up. But if you guys could get the #'s of local pounds especially in canada cause I'm totally lost there. No mexico though! Those little bastard taco bell dogs they got bite me!

Have you checked out www.petfinder.com (http://www.petfinder.com) to find listings of rescue sites all over the united states...and to list your rescue listings there as well.

Nice thread. LA, has a good web site. www.laanimalservices.com (http://www.laanimalservices.com) It works, plus if you call a shelter they can give you any number for rescue groups, including specific breed rescue groups. Rescued animals can make the best pets. Not to mention you save that animal from almost certain death.

Bill Actually I work in the industry as a web manager, web hosting company owner, private custom server manufacture, case design critic, PC cooling analyst, virus analyst, 3D animator, logo/graphic designer, custom PC builder, and in the future I will be shipping full custom MACs.
