It is the one in the Avatart but has a few more extras than in the pic. I have my eyes on a new boat and am willing to get rid of one of the Harleys. 90 something RM 250, 2003 YZ250, 2003 Warrior 350. Thinkin bout getting a DS 650 or a Raptor next spring. Already started ordering parts from the big book of drag to build 2 choppers. One for me and one for the old man. At the price it's costing however, I dont think they will be complete until 2050.

So who here that rides dirt has ridden glamis on a regular basis and NOT gotten jacked up?
My father had bought a YZ426, second weekend he had it he took it out to Glamis. Got careless and road the bike off a 35'-40' Razorback going what he guesses around 60 MPH. He fractured a couple ribs and spraned his wrist and elbow but other then that he was okay. The bike however, required a new gas tank, radiator, Clutch and brake levers, handle bars, and a front fender. Needless to say my father was not a happy camper after that happened.

I tossed ya 5 stars for keep your sprits up and hanging in there.
I downhill with a guy who lost a leg above his knee. He's a sick rider even with one false leg. Really cool guy to be around and he doesn’t want anyone to feel sorry for him. He's an inspiration to me for sure.
Here’s a chair you might like to roll around in. The guy who owns it is downhilling in Big Bear all the time. He goes big on this thing too. Pretty cool to see him ripping down the mountain.

hey thanks superdave. wow, that chair is awsome and the guy sounds like it too. thats way cool he is doing what he loves and enjoying himself. i know it can be tough at times, but i think we all have our disabilities of some sort or another. i tend to stay away from the chair as much as possible, (i am fortunate enough to be able to do so) i walk with two canes and i do get tired very easy, but im just stubborn i guess. like i said the two passions are the river (jet boats) and glamis, (dunebuggy's) when i get in the drivers seat of either one i feel like i am without a disability again. i had to make a few mods to both throtles (boat and buggy) but not much. nobody can really tell untill i get out and they see the canes. i dig it when i see other disabled people not giving up. (it's easy to do, trust me) Kudo's to your buddy, and also to you for the recognition of the fact.
as for getting jacked up in glamis.... yea its a dangerous place. but its a dangerous sport. it can happen anywere. ive been going there for 20 years now and what i did was very stupid on my part. and yes accident happen all to often aswell. but remember this. there was a guy in my rehab that was paralized from the neck down from changing a bulb on his christmas tree. it can happen ANYWERE. think smart, be careful, and have fun! life is way way way too short.

Ive been there once or twice wink
