Pop Ups...

Does anyone else notice a large number of pop up ads now when logged into ***boat? For somereason I've been getting them when I'm lurking ***boat or posting on ***boat...is this new? :confused:

I downloaded adaware. Only had it a couple days but seems to work

Haven't had any problems with ***boat. Tried adaware for awhile but it did'nt like netscape, so I killed it.

thanks guys! :) I downloaded a free popup stopper yesterday and it works great. It's called pop-up stopper and you can get it here http://download.com.com/3000-2366-10170069.html?tag=lst-0-1
It does a great job, and has an override feature that allows you to hold the "CTRL" key down to override. I have found that I have to do this every time I want to look at someones profile here in the forum......but that's an ok tradeoff for me not having to waste my time with them dang popups.
