This guy tried to launch in 12 inches of water. Things were going OK until he ran out of concrete and sunk his trailer in the mud, with the boat still on it. If this is one of you, sorry, I don't mean to poke fun. But at the time, I admit I had to laugh

Jack Smith Park, Needles.... just south of Needles Marina. I've launched there many time with very little more water than that but not quite that low.

You are 100% correct. i took this photo from my inlaws place. This happened several times during the day. They could have launched at Needles Marina, but no, save a few bucks and launch at the State Park. Oh well, hopefully they learned. Peace out..

I hear the Ca Dept of Boating And Waterways has allocated a bunch of $ (million(s)+) to rebuild Jack Smith Park and install new bitchin ramp etc. Any sign of construction yet. I thought I heard it was going to start this year. Maybe they're waiting until fall or something. Peace

Humm, none of our ramps have razor wire on the fence? Are you sure that isn't Jack Smith Pen?

Haven't been there for a while, inlaws sold the place. Bummer.
