Yes, I started a topic back in october or so...wonder if anyone can find that.
My definition-- something that looks like it is going 100mph, when sitting still, has a deep rumble from a big block (or high pitch from the weed wacker), huge stereo with clear sound and one bad ass trailer..and hot girls onboard do add bonus points.

heres my defination of a hot boat.And yes this boat is also used on the river (aha quin area) on the 3 day weekends as well as njba and ihba action boat006. BTW I wouldnt consider my eliminator a true hot boat since it has a covered engine and only a 350 mag but my wife enjoys it and i can drive it all day long on a tank of gas :D

If your boat catch's thumb's up on the road and once you hit the water, people are checking it out and upon firing it up people are still there giving you the thumb's up....that to me is a ***boat! Even if you have a stereo, you don't hear it from the back seats..If it does a 100mph, she's a ***boat!
As for the " any body of water ", I would love to see some big 40'Cat bring his unit to a small lake like I use and use it...stuck on the ramp, I would say, but my boat can do most place's that I put it into, where you boat is what you think ***boats really are!
Where I live, I have a ***boat! Nothing around here can touch it and this is the family boat now, tubing and kneeboarding . I would like to see a big 40+ anything pulling kid's on tube's and ski's, have never seen it yet!
So, a ***boat is what people see it as..period!

Well mr short shorts :D Like i said it does double duty.It has 23 gallons gas capacity,4 seats,and a ski tow,oh and room for a small cooler.I have taken it to havasu and to the sandbar.Also can go 9.48@112 in the 1/4.
