The Basics
Raising your quarter-million dollar baby
Children are priceless, but raising them is probably the most expensive thing you'll ever do. Here are some strategies and tips that may help you cut your child-rearing costs.
By Jeff Wuorio
Every newborn child is a bundle of joy. But you better have a bundle of cash on hand if you want to raise one.
In 2002, the U.S. Department of Agriculture -- which conducts annual Consumer Expenditure Surveys on the cost of raising children -- estimated that families making $65,800 a year or more will spend a whopping $249,180 to raise a child from birth through age 17.
Jeez, that's a lot of dough-ray-me!!!!!

Not including college...Don't you think you could easily spend $250,000 over the course of 18 years?
I say your kids are well worth it! :D

This has made me very, very depressed. Time to start looking for a sugar daddy. Anyone know someone about 90 years, one foot in the grave, and a really big bank account? wink :D
PS: Non working private parts preferred, no viagra users. :)

Ring this up.
My daughter just wrecked her car Monday morning.
She didn't pay her car insurance, so she doesn't have a policy.
She owes $13,000 on her car her payment is $350.00 a month, and it's totaled.
I just bailed the car out of impound. Now it sits in my driveway.
The bank wants insurance on the car because of the loan,
not to mention any law suits that might follow.
She expects her parents to help bail her out of this one. burningm

Unfortunately you will most likely have to bail her out because she's minor and you're the parent...which only teaches her it's not a big deal and someone else will pay for her mistakes :(
What a BUMMER situation to be in...your family is in my thoughts! :)
