How about those Rebel's.......outta be a hell of series against Jordin Tootoo and Brandon. Don't know if there's any history between the two, but it seems a nice battle could/should emerge between Phaneuf and Tootoo(couple of big hitters).

Hey, I don't think the Rebels are a bad team. As my non-home team, however, they suck by definition. :D
Actually JB, I don't know much about the WHL but I like the league. As a semi-educated fan, it's a treat to watch hockey in which players skate and play hard for 60 minutes. The first NHL game I ever went to was in Winnipeg. It was an early season Jets versus Habs game and it was about as boring as any parks league game I've ever seen.
I guess I bore easily but I like to watch junior hockey, olympic hockey, NHL playoff hockey, and NHL regular season games when both teams show up. It seems to me that the NHL has become less interesting now that everyone makes it into the playoffs.

For the coverage of the first NHL game of the San Jose Sharks, they interviewed some fans outside in the lineup before the game. One of the fans asked Don Cherry, "If a puck goes over the glass and up into the stands... do we get to keep it?"

How do you know so much about the WHL, Turtle? Because, I like to follow the Caps, fights and draft. As in who the top picks may be, and the development of them? The rebels have had several caps prospects recently so I've followed them closer then others. At which time, I've noticed several other players on that team. Mostly them and Calgary, MJ and Kelowna. It's not hard to follow even from AZ, there a couple good hockey boards around with a fair share of people around those areas and inside those organization who will give you unbiased opinions and tapes. So no, I didn't just look up those names, Jordin Tootoo(nashville prospect) has become infamous among caps fans because he knocked a few prospects out such as Nolan Yonkman 2 years ago(fight, pretty embarassing considering the size and age difference at the time), and Brian Sutherby last year with a high elbow. However though, this year Patrick Wellar(caps prospect)knocked him out in a fight :) . And Colton Orr(boston prospect?) knocked him out (recently), but may have been a sucker punch though. So among fight boards and fans, Tootoo has developed quite the reputation for shit stirrer :cool: .(wish he was a caps prospect)
Actually Regina has a caps prospect too, Petr
Dvorak from Czech. This was his first year playing North American hockey, but I'm not sure I really give him a chance to make it to the NHL. Honestly, haven't seen him but from opinions, it seems he can't flourish his skills on the smaller ice, tighter game.
