Does the ban include the double stuff variety too?

I can understand this guys point of view on trans fat. However, it's a crock that he is only going after 1 particular vendor.
I think the effort should be focused on making consumers more educated about the risks involved in this trans fat product and giving consumers the choice to continue purchasing the product regardless of the risk involved.
If this guy succeeds at this the commi's will start to succeed. What next? Outlaw Cheap toilet paper because the tough texture of the paper causes scar tissue that may later lead to difficulty using the crapper?

This guy is on the money with the trans fat, but going after the one company is crap. Why not bring a lawsuit to the USDA for all the years of their twisted "food pyramid". It should be a choice for the people to eat that crap or not. If they don’t eat it the companies will change it so they can keep selling them. Not to mention that Oreos are a national treasure and they have one for every holiday. :D

These food companies are feeding us and our kids crap in almost everything they make. Kids have no idea what's good for them or not and it's up to us to decide for them. I don't agree with banning cookies but make Nabisco put it in large writing right on the label. Tobacco co. have to do it why shouldn't food co? Yeah oreo's won't give you cancer in 20 years but they will give you a heart attack. I'm a Doc. and I read labels all the time but sometimes I can't even tell what's in some of this crap.

3 words on this issue
Supply and Demand
Educate the people of the detriments of trans fats and the demand will evaporate for the unhealthy product forcing the manufacturers to make healthier products.
If people don't care enough about themselves to be educated, that's their choice.

This really makes me thankful that I have survived to reach the age I am.
I never had to wear a Helmet to ride my bicycle.
Ate tons of Oreo cookies and Mcdonalds fast food.
Never had to be warned about coffee being hot.
Was taxied around in cars with out air bags, child seats and what the heck was a SUV?
My God,
How did I survive childhood?

Hey ES, I have to agree. When we start fining lawyers & judges for letting idiotic cases go forward (I boke my fingers cuz my neighbor backed his car over them while I was trying to steal his hubcaps) then i think we will begin to make people responsible for themselves. They will realize that big business is not some cash cow that needs to be milked.
Didn't some lady recently sue BK cuz her kids ate too many hamburgers and was obese?

For Texas it's a jack ass move. For Ca it would be their best move in many years.
