Speaking of "Wheelie King" anybody remember Doug Domokis (sp?) AKA "The Wheelie King?" Who knows, maybe he's still around. He could ride a wheelie on his motorcycle pretty much as long as he wanted to. I saw him at Daytona in April of 1980 (for the motorcycle, not auto, races.) He did a complete lap of the MX course on his rear wheel -- pretty cool.
Happy boating,
CS

That's a flashback! Nothing was cooler than racing in the 70s and having the Hemi under glass and Little Red Wagon make exhibition runs at the County!

CS That looks like the good ol' days of weekend warrior racing...how fun was that chit?!
Doug Domokis had some help on that bike, a device in front axle to keep wheel turning giving him better gyroscopic balance. Did plenty of that crap in my days, lots of sore tailbones too eek!

I grew up watching the wheelie king at the Anahiem Supercross. The wheelie king died a few years ago in a plane crash.

Cool video, is that on someones web page? Check out the guardrails, or I should say the lack of eek! Man, I remember seeing cars get a little sideways, drop a tire off the asphault and it's all over! It's Tommy-Flip-Over time. Made for some great pic's, but at least now days you just scrape the paint up some hopefully!

Nice video, gave me goosebumps. A 69 Dart is on the list of vehicles to acquire next. I have wanted one of those forever. I never seem to find anything nice.

Doug died in a small plane crash a few years back. God bless his soul.
