Probably dont need to warm my fellow boaters, as this has SCAM written all over it, but just in case...DONT FALL FOR THIS!!! This is an e mail that I received today. -DD Out

THE FORMER FINANCIAL CONTROLLER OF COTE
D'IVOIRE TELECOMMUNICATION(CITELCOM).
BEFORE THE DEATH OF MY FATHER HE REVEALED TO ME
ABOUT US$10MILLION HE DEPOSITED IN A BANK HERE IN
ABIDJAN COTE D'IVOIRE.THIS MONEY WAS MADE AS A
RESULT OF OVER INVOICED CONTRACT EXECUTED DURING HIS
TENURE IN OFFICE.

I got my 10 million already, right after I got a wire transfer for the $25K for my flatty to go to africa.....LOL. Damn Prop Chuckers.

I get at least 2-3 of these types a week. Mostly signed from various dudes in Africa somewhere.

Well, I cant believe that anyone could actually fall for this type of stuff. I have to guess that somebody out there has probably sent their money, and then waited at the bank for a transfer that will never come...lol. -DD Out

my company receives those all the time, mail, phone, email. i forward them to the attorney general's office and they send to FBI. this type of thing has been going on for at least 5 yrs.

You'd be suprised at the number of people who do fall for this scam. They did a story on this on one of the major news networks, and gave sob stories of people that did fall for the scam. My response to these emails is to put the sender on spam mailing lists.
