Just thought I'd intro myself on the forum.
Birth name is Scott, screenname is Sherpa.
41, married, 3 girls all under 8.....
been boating since birth, (Tahiti w/95 merc)
from the folks, and I have an 88 master-raft
prostar owned since new. still looks new.
I've ALWAYS loved ***boats, flat's and hydro's..
always wanted one, but something kept me from
buying. now that I've actually got a little
money, (don't ask to borrow any though..lol)
I'm almost looking for a flat. prefer a Cole
or sanger or howard. live in san jose, and
enjoy the delta, and have been to almost every
lake from 200-6000 foot elevation.....
--just wanted to say hello... so, bash the
newbie if you feel so inclined.....
oh yeah, I've been going to Red Bluff for over
28 years..............

I have been lurking or a little* while, (must admit to checking into the pics*** threads alot.)
been grazing at dragboats.com for a long time, but
I think Randy doesn't set up the site for user-
freindly stuff at all.
I frequent a couple hard-core 4x4 sites mostly,
but I gotta admit, I love boats more than 4x4s.
Tools are my game though. welding/equipment fab
is my hobbie.

the meaning of the name Sherpa: actually 2 meanings. 1: the obvious, the little guys that
carry equipment long distances up very steep hills.
but the main definition: conjured by a long-
time buddy way back from jr hi....
sherpa-rig: A very ugly mismatched-parts assembled
bastard-ized vehicle only built for one reason.
to run the piss out of without regard for any
styling, appeal, or fashion........
these vehicles are commonly found in places like:
Oroville, ca. Palermo, hamilton city, Rio Lindo,
etc..........
ok, moving along, the garage-fridge is always loaded with mixed-beers, but the garage-attack-
cat is posting guard duty, so beware.
