Any Hot Boaters going to be in Vegas for New Years? Heading up the 29th. Where to go, what to look out for? Went once before for New Years in 98' I beleive, when they imploded the Hacienda. Good Times! :p

We did the Strip last year, it was a blast! Pedestrian traffic only, they block off the center lanes for law enforcement (lots of it) and emergency vehicles. Just cruised up and down hitting various casinos. Lots of outdoor bars set up and a few live bands, you can bring your own booze if you want, but don't bring glass. People were cool, as were the cops.
Killer fireworks from several properties @ midnight.

Nice! I'm looking forward to gettin my drink on. I heard they close the doors on the casinos to guests only after a certain time. I guess you have to figure out where you want to go early and stay there unless you just hang out outside.

You might also check out Fremont Street, I'm sure they'll be puttin' on a good party! Closer quarters and not nearly as far to walk between casinos. Went down there a few times this summer for various events and always had fun.

Hey Reaper, I did Vegas for 10 years straight for New Years until my daughter was born. You'll have fun wherever you hang. Lots of hot chicks everywhere(Not sure if you're single)and of course drinking in public is awesome(Unless some idiot gets out of control and you have to check him, this is always a possibility). I like Fremont. Gets crazy crowded and they have the countdown on a giant screen plus fireworks. Have fun wish I could go but having a 3 year old restricts my freedom a little ya know!!!!

we did the strip last year. there were roughly 300,000 people on the strip for new years eve. they do close the casinos to non guests sometime before midnight so make sure you know where the porta-shitters are long before you really need them!!!!

Thanks for the info guys. Unleashed - I have a six month old daughter but she's staying at Grandmas so Mom and Dad can go get loose.
Rude235 - That's a lot of frickin people wandering the street. Sucks for the women as far as the porto dumps but for the guys you know the world is our toilet(so to speak) wink

The hardest part is getting here. TRAFFIC! Try driving at nignt or taking off work early. Once your here you can let loose and forget about everything. The best place to party for adults!

The strip for New Year is alot of fun!!!! We have done it a couple of times. It's sort of like the Sandbar at Havasu, only at night and alot colder eek! Have a great time wink
