we just had a storm like i've never seen before - gotta remember i grew up in the okanagan - we don't get storms like that there - i could not believe the thunder and lightening, but then the wind and rain was incredible - looked like somewhere in the tropics outside

When the rain hits the ground so hard it seems to bounce off of it. Sigh. Vancouver gets drizzle mostly ... never thought I'd feel this but I miss Ontario weather sometimes lol. Living on the north shore of Lake Huron most of my life I saw some awesome kick ass lightning shows and downpours! :)

I like the occasional thunderstorms being a Midwest transplant. :)
It is cool when a storm rolls through at the river and one minute peace and quiet and the next minute wind, thunder, and rain... then a few minutes go by and the sun comes out again. :)
