The bird in the top of this tree is a bald eagle! in the winter this river is swarming with them!

Makes me a little home sick. I grew up as a kid on the Mississippi, the wapsi, Rock & all the aother rivers, lakes, rock quarries & sand pits.
Lots of water back there.
Pretty damn dry back here.
Enjoy...winters on the way & it'll be time to break out the snowmobiles & ATV's dragging people around on tubes & sleds. I love it, but I can't work in it.

The wapsi is another good river near here. we just found another sand quarey a few weeks back. along the cedar river north of CR that is known for huge crappie and bass!! I tell you what though jet this vilsack peice of shit (govener) is really ****ing shit up around here! the economy here is just shit!
