I was always taught that it was quality not quantity that mattered.

It has taken me a while just to be close to 100 and I still have a ways to go. How many of the 6000 do you think actually still post?

Its not about quantity, but quality. I like to read what others have to say and only interject when I have a worthy comment. Some of the regulars are quit entertaining.
First river trip of the year is this weekend. Is it Friday yet?

 What I find is that some need a kick in the ass to post, I know I'am not one of the big dogs with 4-5-6 thousand posts! But I love to post, even if its shit, gives somebody something to post too!
Quality to you might be shit, to a new boater. Give them something to post too and make then feel at home. At least till they ****-up and then photochop their ass..J/K...NOT!
I really am though, I read something about me " Intimidate", I do that to people? It has made me think the last few days if I am too hard on some people, I don't want people to not post!
I will try to be a nice poster for awhile, how the **** DOES THAT SOUND ! Post your ass-off, if I stayed a lurker, you really think anybody would have even remember my name?
It is sad that not many post, why join and not post questions , thoughts, views! I don't get it.......( . )( . )........ :D :p

........( . )( . )........ :D :p Thats what I'm talkin about, man!! Photochop!!
Seriously, though, I was reffering to adding "LMAO" or :D :D :D to every post.
There is no real content there.
Thats one sure way to build up a count though...

I basically have "no life" for the most part. Therefore, this forum has basically become my "internet family" so to speak.
I'm not sure I ever have anything to say that is what you would consider *quality*, but I'm a girl, I just like to talk!!! :D :p

I basically have "no life" for the most part. This may be true, but you also apparently have one hell of an overworked showerhead...LMAO!!!! -DD Out

LMAO!!! :D Oh! You guys are starting to know me TOO WELL!!! wink
Just think, if I HAD a life, I probably wouldn't have such an intimate relationship with staying clean nor would I be posting as much! :D

I have been a member for only a few months. I read the posts almost every day. I do most of my post reading at work with my morning coffee. At home I have a wife, two kids in school, yard work, I try to hit the gym three nights a week. This leaves precious little time for posting in the forums. I do enjoy reading others posts and have learned alot in a short time. This Friday we are heading for a 10 day camping vacation to Lake Belton in Texas. I plan to take a lot of pictures of the area, and my boat, and post them here. I enjoy seeing pictures of the Havasu area and hope you all will enjoy my pics.

Enjoy the camping trip, 10 days sounds like a good time :D
How much longer does it take to post over reading along with it

TexasJet

Reading only takes a few minutes per thread. Posting can take 10 min. or more. Since I am new to this posting stuff I try not to say anything unless it is somewhat relevant and intelligent. I think it is somewhat of a time management issue also.
