How much is everyone paying for full boat insurance. I know the range will vary with the value of the boat but it should but should be somewhat close for boats under 50K and boats under 100K.

$450 with Westmar.
'03 $45.000 boat (with Extreme trailer)
Full replacement value, plus $250 deductable, and no restrictions on places like Havasu or Meade.
Unique policy they offer, I suggest checking them out.
Includes underwater hazards and prop damage.
I run an expensive ACME prop so it's well worth the dough.
Got T-Boned deluxe a while back by an uninsured Waverunner in Avalon Harbor and Westmar was super.

$3,500.00 for DCB $560.00 for Carrera. mbrown2, why so cheap for DCB? I looked everywhere for ins. This was best price I could find  I found an agent that got an exclusion through Farmers moved all my insurances through him, and with the exclusion they were able to get a lower rate with all the other coverages...
In addition, before Farmers I was able to get it for 2250...Sounds like you might be paying a little too much.

mbrown2,I have all my houses and car ins. though farmers and they wouldn't insure the boat, been with them twenty five years  With basically no claims.Who is your agent, my agent is in Thousand Oaks. I'm afraid next year I won't be able to get any ins. at any cost.

Right now I,m insured through PMA, his name is Buzz Fyhrie. I tried that Devon guy and he was more than PMA. They call me on a follow up last week and wanted to know who I went to. They said they were having A hard time finding cat ins. now. The only company writing it was Markel, they also told me it wasn't the on water problems with the cats but that were getting stolen all the time. I'm pretty sure it was that Devon that called last week. Oh well, I have ins. for a year eek!

Full replacement coverage and $250.00 deductable = $662.00 It sounded high until you shop. You need to SHOP!!!!I just shopped insurance for our business and save a bunch of money. $350/yr with full coverage on a 1972 Tahiti Jet that has 400+hp.
I went through Boat U.S., but it was a pain in the ass finding a company to do it. They agreed to insure a total loss at $12,000 for me.

I had fellow board members Dimarco Bros insure my 1992 210 Hallett. It has the stock 454 with the Bravo O/D. I pay only $560 per year for
$500k Liability
$5k Medical
Full value of the boat
$2k personal property
I also had to be towed earlier this spring due to an outdrive problem that is now fixed, and the yellow Sea Tow boat at Havasu towed me from the sandbar to Windsor launch ramp. Since my insurance is through the company they represent I had up to $150 of free towing service provided to me by the Sea Tow company. You just submit your bill, and get the money for the tow reimbursed to you in no time at all. If any of you have questions about them feel free to ask.
