Yes I am selling all of my desert stuff. I am going to buy a Rhino but that is it, I am setting my sights on my next boat and dropping the desert stuff for a couple of years.
$6,500 OBO Sticker is $7,200 plus frieght and setup on the same bike at a dealer.

Wish I could, I need this bike gone like yesterday.
Believe me this price is more then fair for a brand new bike, but if somebody was interested I would make them a hell of a deal right now......... (My Rhino came in)

Maybe I can work something out for you if your serious............ I don't know I would have to find out.
Man I cannot believe the calls and PM's but no one is stepping up to the plate. You can't touch this bike for less then $7,000 PLUS setup and everything else at a dealer, your looking at $7,300 up plus t&l.

Thanks, I was told by a dealer what a "good deal" on this bike would be that is what I posted for a "asking" price.

I made a offer. I like the retro look. I have a YZ400 that we striped & powder coated the frame white. Then had a friend that owns IMS mold me a yellow tank and ran the yellow Hannah plastic for it in late 98. It has been a killer bike. I also added the WR lighting and electronics.
Had to buy a 06 CRF450X. Honda has stepped it up on the non MX bikes this year. Well see if it lasts as long as the YZ.

Congrats on the Honda, it should be a good bike.
Yes you did make an offer, but for what you offered I could sell it for that next year after ridding it for a season. :)

I wasn't trying to offend you, thats close to what they cost on the industry side of the market. You didn't say how much you paid, :) just how much retail was.
We'll have to see how I like going back to the Honda, that Yamaha is a damn good bike. I liked it more then the 3 CR500's I had before it.

I like riding more than working on the bike. About every four to five rides bike would get hard to start. Time to adjust the valves again. Then no more adjusting now time to redo the valves. Plus they burn oil way to fast. The oil part is not that big a deal, but I live in Palmdale. Palmdale to riders is like Hawaii to surfers. Sometimes I load up after work to go to the track and forget to check the oil. I was lucky , but a buddie of mine blew his motor cause of the oil burning deal. Make sure you stay on top of that. Other than that good bike except for the brakes. Honda brakes realy suck. IMO

Thanks, I'll keep a close eye on the oil. I know it doesn't hold very much either. I will change it more often also, as the heat will kill it.
Thanks, Mike

I've ridden both the Honda and Yamaha and the new YZ450F is the best bike I think I've ever ridden. The 05 Honda was better than the 05 Yamaha or real close to it but this 06 Aluminum Framed YZ is absolutely sick....and with Yamaha having the patent on the five valve engine...Honda is going to be hard pressed to keep up...that's why the Honda motor is so high maintence...they need all that lift to try and move as much air with four valves as the Yamaha does with five.
Anyway bump for you Andy.....

I had a 03 and an 04 yzf. These bikes are bullet proof. I bought the 06 kxf 450, I love the bike, but I hope it holds up as good as my YZF s did.

It should, I told one of the guys across the street to pass it on to his buddies. He said how much I told him $6,200, he said "I'll take it for myself". He will be here at lunch with the cash. It's funny I was going to call the guy the day I decided to sell it because he knows so many people that ride, but I never took the time to call him. Guess I should have called him first!
