I wish I could mean all of our soldiers but one of our Nevada units returned.
Just got back from the homecoming for Co D 113th AVN for our Nevada Army Guard. Great to have them back home. They are our CH-47 Chinook unit. (See my avatar). Just thought I would share some pics.

Sorry to hear about the lost 113th had. Our prayers are with their families. I am glad to hear that the unit is finally home and safe though. They did a great job out here.

Hey piper, hope you get back safe too. These guys were actually in Afghanistan. I just retired in 2004.

I did a 3 week mission out in Bagrum, Afgahnistan in October. I think that's where I saw a couple of their birds. I was hanging around with the special teams most of the time but I did go out to Kandahar too. When our part of the mission was completed I came back out here.
I'm glad to hear they are back home. They deserve a long break. Tell your friend that I thank him for a job well done. Hooah!!

I think they were out of Kandahar but may have had a couple up in Bagram.

TTT since alot of folks were at the lake this weekend. I am just pretty excited about my buds getting back finally. Look forward to hearing of more troops getting home. :cool:

Todd, thanks for sharing those pics and my heart goes out to the familes that didnt get to celebrate.
