BlackMeadow Landing distance from dam

We have a place on the CA side of the Parker Strip and use to have the convience of a quick trip over the dam to launch at the lake. As you know post 9/11 that is no longer an option. How long does it take after the left at the dam to get to Black Meadow and onto the lake. The drive through town is getting old.

I haven't been there in a couple years, but if I recall, it's a good 20-30 minute drive, mostly dirt. But it's a nice uncrowded launch.

i went there two years ago and the road wasnt dirt, but it wasnt that great either. take it slow, theres a few nasty curves and a narrow road. but yes, once your there its a nice spot. but Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...... dont tell anyone. :D

It's a 20-30 ride (truck/car) but it's only about a 10 min. boat ride (depends on how fast your boat is) Havasau springs is nice.
