My Dad and I went to look at this car yesturday. Its a 1931 Model A Ford Phaeton. It is a Two Door model. They made very few of these cars. Around 6000. My Dad has two cars that are all done. He said when the last one was finished it was the last one EVER!!!! He just got his AACA First National Senior with the car.
So yesturday we went to look at this car. Its kinda a wreck. Lots of parts are missing. I just thought Id show off a couple pictures of it.

Wow that poor old tub is hamered ! From the pictures it looks like the hood and grill are scrap but the body is workable . What are they asking for it?

They are asking $6000 for the car. Its missing the engine, transmission and lots of other stuff. The body is very nice. The hood and grille are very good. The picture makes them look bad.

The car done the way my Dad would do it. Would be worth around 35-40K.

I like those old resto projects. There alot of
work but well worth it.
My old man restored a 39 Ford Deluxe coupe.
Frame up.
Came out beautiful. He passed away and we still
have the car in the family. Complete original.

This thing is a real project without a doudt. the problem with this car is everything is very rare and pretty hard to find. That is of the parts that are missing.

Looks like a fun project, never did one like this, how long do you estimate to complete it?
I restored my a 66 Mustang a few years ago, took a couple years to get it the way I wanted it.

That looks like alot of work. If you decide to buy it I hope you post some pics so we can watch the progress.
My dad needed a truck for the "farm", so he had this one restored. He didn't do the work but it took about 3 yrs to get it done. :) :) :)
