**VIDEO** 4 minute ride-alcohol burning v-drive

The latest video. The ride back to the ramp in the Cougar at sunset.
WARNING 25 megs 4 minutes long. Recorded in the least quality for the smallest file.
Blower whine - gearbox wine - alcohol injection sounds - zoomies - Oklahoma Sunset - 120 MPH blasts - Infomaniac Jr. enjoying himself.
Starts off letting the engine warm up, shut it off, put it in gear, drive off, make 2 passes past the hang out beach, drive toward the ramp.
The last blast has violent sponson walk. I knew instantly what it was. Back at the ramp found both turnbuckles broken loose from the center cavatation plate, one missing completely. Easy fix.

Not quality filming for sure. No claims on that part. Sounds and sensations only. MY daughter watched it and said " Dad I hate when you use the camera" LOL
Pretty hard to hold the camera and take care of business at the same time. Need to put a camera mount in that thing one of these days.
Just trying to share a typical ride for us that happens several times each week.
Not sure how many lake boats out that direction running zoomies, alcohol injection etc.

It showed 7,000 plus RPM's several times. Not all the way wound out.
7,000 RPM + 37 gears + 16 pitch prop is 115 - 120 MPH

eek! The boat only does that when the cav plate hardware is broken. It has not broken in a long time since the last upgrade.

99% of the time I do ride alone. I never wind it all the way out with Info Jr. on board and would not even consider racing with him in it.
