It's odd that when you see polls and statistics you would think the Chevy would have the number 1 selling truck since everybody says they love chevys. But y isnt chevy number 1 selling truck?
I am a Dodge Man. I'd roll a Ford before a Chevy but I'll stick to my Dodges.

Carol Shelby!!! Yeah he did good but I would rather go with Steve Yenko. He made some bad ass cars...For some reason when it comes to speed, Street or Strip Chevy rules...And Chevy has the highest resale value! Chevy Man for Life.

I am a Dodge Man. I'd roll a Ford before a Chevy but I'll stick to my Dodges. GM has at least two brands in the same space: Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. When they add the sales of those two together they're usually neck-and-neck with Ford.
Same with SUVs from GM, etc. Ford only sells Ford and doesn't have a competing brand.

MMD, you're wrong. F150 is a separate animal than the SD and I think the GM are considered the same. As for SUVs, the Expedition is the same as the Navigator. The Explorer, Mountaineer, Aviator and Mazda Navajo are all variations of the Explorer. The Escape and Mazda Tribute are the same.

For me I have the most faith in Ford Motors, problem is after owning 4 or 5 the inside sort of looks the same on all of them. After getting burned out on them I know own my second Chevy HD2500 and still have no faith in there motors.Thank god for leasing and warrantys.
For cars its Honda all the way. :D

Chevy or Ford.....we pick Ford because Ford is cheaper ( in price ), and because Chevy does not make/ or plan to make a Suburban Diesel.....so we went with the Ford Excursion 7.3. Dodge makes ugly ass lookin' trucks...( Sorry Dodge lovers  )

the sad thing is in this day and age it doesnt really matter. just buy what looks the best to you. you will only get out of a vehicle what you put into it. yes there are lemons out there but bottom line you take care of your vehicle and it will take care of you! btw i didnt vote!

Every truck built today is miles better than its counterpart of twenty years ago. Any manufacturer has its lemons, so I go by what I have had good luck with. I have found Fords to be unbreakable and Dodge to be pretty reliable mechanically. I will never own another GM period. As far as the Japanese manufacturers, their vehicle philosophies do not suit my needs.

If it ain't GM it ain't shit :D I have owned a few fords and wouldn't cross the street for one, needless to say a mopar either. I might consider a honda as far as a import. I think there quality is superior  Those new mopar trucks look like they have had a ugly stick used on them :p

It's kind of funny that I consider our family a "FORD" family. I drive an F-150 and just picked up the Mrs. a new Expedition.
However, our boat has a Chevy motor??? WTF yuk yuk yuk
As long as it is American.
BTW...For those of you that don't know, Chevrolet is NOT American!!! Louis Chevrolet was from Switzerland.
Henry Ford is from Michigan and is truly American!!!

P.S. I drive an Acura integra, my wife has a Honda civic and my motorhome's based on a Chevy (that I wish was a diesel).

As far as sports cars go there are 2 that come into mind.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII
Toyota Supra TT
This winter I am going to start a drag car project and debating between those 2 cars and a 68 Camaro. I love the Camaros but to find one at an affordable enough price to build up into a drag beast will require me to spend like 2-3 years just restoring the thing. Plus, if I get either of those cars mentioned above I can be the first "resident" to run a 10 second 1/4 mile.
For daily driven car I have to give my vote to Honda and Toyota. If I could afford to I'd daily drive a Lexus but my toys come before a Lexus does.

Nissan...they are VERY reliable and WELL built.
I have 268k on my Maxima (daily driver) it is fast enough to hang with stock stang GT's, but has 4 doors, luxury, comfort, handling...just perfect :)
For speed, Mustang 5.0 or Twin Turbo Z
Skyline owns too...

I work for a company that does fixed operations (parts & service) training and consulting. We have a handfull of import manufacturers that offer their dealers financial incentives to hire us to help them with profitability and customer statisfaction improvements.
