Hey Waldo, I have all of those as well, but if You havent seen it, "U-571" is the most kick ass movie if you have good surround 5.1, feels like you are in that ****ing sub when those depth charges are going off. And if you turn it up loud, the whole room will shake just the same. smile_sp

I just rented "I spy" with Eddy Murphy last night. It has Dolby and DTS sound for your pleasure. There are two older funny movies I would recommend that are not as well known ; "Ted's Devine" and "The Gods must be Crazy|". For special effects "Matrix I" [not dts though] and "Dark City".

Definetly a must have DVD!
:D
I'd add "Last of the Mohicans" with Daniel Day Lewis to any DVD collection...A pretty good movie with great sound, you can hear the musket balls flying behind you on the surround sound..

"Bullitt"
"Gone in 60 Seconds" (the H.B. Halicki Original, not the updated POS)
"Spongebob Squarepants : Sea Stories" (If you've got kids, of course) (Or a bong smile_sp )
"This is Spinal Tap"
"The Song Remains the Same" <-- Oh shit I am an old geezer. O Midnite Movies where did you go?

Damn, I will have to rob a bank to get all those great movies.......... I've only been building my collection for the last 7 years or so... My DVD player was the one they used as a test machine for Crutchfield when they first started selling them, and I was buying movies before I had a player. I remember a time when there was about 12 movies out on DVD and I had just about all of them. Just give it time and the collection will build. :D
