I had to wait over 40 minutes to cast my vote. This was before 8:00 this morning. Did anyone else run into this? Are people just slow or was it a big turnout? :D smile_sp

Big turnout. Only a couple of minutes, but I've never had to wait at all there before.

I was the only person voting at my polling place at 8:00 a.m. or so.
Somebody else came in when I had finished.
Pretty pathetic, really.

10 am, no line, 3 people voting at the 8 slot machines/ voting booths.
About 10 people were showing up as I was leaving, however.
Of course I am a redneck that votes at the church directly behind Little Abner's on VB in Woodcrest.

About 3 minutes.
Heard a caller on a radio show say he was behind a spanish speaking man, who did not know english, had never voted before, did not have any identification and was not registered.
HE GOT TO VOTE. The pollster had no grounds to challenge him.  eek!

1 p.m. - no line.
It takes 5 seconds to fill out that ballot.
I would really like to meet these so-called people that cannot figure out the ballot. People can't be that dumb. Can they? wink

HE GOT TO VOTE. The pollster had no grounds to challenge him.  eek! Basically, anyone can do this and get to vote. However, their vote is what is called a "Provisional Ballot." Their vote is only counted AFTER it is verified they are a registered voter in their district. If they are not a registered voter, el voto no couto!

No wait here.
Bizarre was that most the polling workers were deaf.
I can't imagine anyone that is interested in motorsport recreation voting demo.
Davis is a turd.

Dropped mine in the mail last week. I am not even in the state on election day. Only way to make sure you can vote.

It took about half an hour at 4:00 this afternoon and he line was twice as big when I left. I would have waited as long as it took. Damn, that felt good!

Voted at 8:30AM and there were about 5 people there.
We used the punch card ballot and somehow we seemed to be able to navigate it successfully and vote correctly on each item. I guess those that had problems with the punch card ballot probably CAN'T READ EFFEN ENGLISH!
Impressive factoid: LA County has more registered voters than all but 5 STATES in the US!

Took me only a few minutes but the wife had a bus load of "seniors" offload just before her so they took their sweet time(walkers and all). She could hear one lady say(while in her booth), I can't see and it sounded like the old lady was punching every hole idea Must've moved here from Florida
